REFUND POLICY

Yes, we will refund the entire amount of the tour if it is cancelled outside of 24 hours before the tour departure time.  To cancel please email atasteofkelowna@gmail.com or text message (250) 801-9317.

 

BOOKING

 

Tickets have to be pre booked a minimum of 1-hour prior to the tour, and preferably sooner.  This guarantees your place and allows the tour to leave on time.  It also allows restaurants and establishments to have the food or drink prepared on time.
 

PAYMENT
 

Payment can be taken online using a credit or debit card to make online booking and payment.  Prices are in Canadian Dollars.

 

START OF TOUR

The tour starts out front The Laurel Packinghouse - 1304 Ellis Street - and winds its way through the stunning Cultural District downtown Kelowna!  You will see our sandwich board.  Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of your tour. We do not provide any pick-up or drop-off for guests.

WASHROOMS

 

At the majority of venues visited there will be seating and toilet facilities available.
 

WEATHER 

The tour will still take place if it rains.  We have umbrellas available, let us know if you will require one to use for the tour.  They are properly sanitized between tours.  Otherwise please wear appropriate clothing, and times between tastings won’t be too long outside.

AMOUNT OF FOOD

The tour will have between 7 tastings.  They are sample sizes of the fare at each establishment, so they are not meant to be entire meals.  However, you should feel like you had something to eat by the end of the tour.

VEGETARIAN OR SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

 

If we are told in advance we can make arrangements for vegetarians or anyone with special dietary needs going on the walking tours.

 

CHILDREN

 

Children are allowed on these tours with soft drink alternatives being provided.

 

PETS

Due to health restrictions we are limited to service animals with official licensing only.

DISTANCE

The tour covers roughly 2.5 km or 1.5 miles, which totals about 30-40 minutes of walking at a leisurely pace.  There are no hills downtown Kelowna, however we do cross 2 bridges, and enter a small garden park.

PARKING

Parking downtown Kelowna is pay to park year-round.  There is an ample parking lot on the corner of Ellis St. & Cawston Ave. downtown Kelowna.  This would be the first choice, as it’s just seconds from the Tour meeting spot.  Kelowna has 3 parkades on Ellis Street downtown between Cawston Avenue and Bernard Avenue that are again moments from the Tour meeting spot. The Library Parkade is a block from where we start and $1.25 an hour. 1360 Ellis Street.

END OF THE TOUR

The tour finishes BNA - 1250 Ellis Street downtown Kelowna.  This is a 30 second walk back to where we start the tour at 1304 Ellis Street.

WHEELCHAIR/STROLLER ACCESSIBLE

Yes!  The entire tour is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Shopping is encouraged at any of our amazing partners!  There is time to quickly purchase something at the visit, or come back on your own time and get more of what you desire.  

LANGUAGE

Tours are offered in English only at this time.
